The daughter of a small-business owner and a Spanish teacher, her passion for photography started in high school. It was there that she joined the newspaper and photography clubs, which taught her the basics of creating her own publications. Through encouragement by her parents and teachers, she earned her first DSLR camera and has never looked back.

In college, Samantha was given various opportunities to use photography and writing academically. This includes a group publication of the statistics of PTSD on our active duty service members, and potential ways to solve common issues resulting from a lack of treatment, as well as taking the food photos for a PhD student’s dissertation paper on health and wellness in home cooking. Upon graduating, she moved across the country and continued her creative writing and photography to create a travel blog based on visual storytelling that is read globally.

Samantha is looking for amazing opportunities to serve her community artistically, and she is always excited when projects allow her to meet new people and travel to new places.
